	LABELLA ASSOCIATES PARTICIPATES IN THE 2012 UNITED WAY DAY OF CARING The 2012 United Way Day of Caring took place May 10th and more than 7,000 volunteers participated in 400 projects throughout the Greater Rochester area. Ten LaBella volunteers spent their day at the Maplewood YMCA spreading mulch, pruning and weeding.
	WELCOME PHASE I ESA PROGRAM MANAGER, ADAM ZEBROWSKI
		Adam Zebrowski joined the Environmental Division of LaBella Associates as the Phase I ESA Program Manager in October of 2011. Adam is responsible for the coordination and completion of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. He has four years of experience managing all aspects of Phase I & II Site Assessment projects including soil, groundwater and air sampling, soil and groundwater remediation, underground storage tank (UST) removal, vapor intrusion studies and geophysical surveys. He is very familiar with regulatory criteria/compliance in New York and Pennsylvania. Over the last few months, Adam has met several clients and looks forward to continuing to uphold our reputation of quality customer service and quick turnaround time. 		LaBella Associates, P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of the following employee: Michael Bieber Mr. Bieber joins LaBella as a Senior Designer in the Civil Engineering Division. With 25 years of experience working as a Senior Civil Engineering Designer and Construction Inspector, he offers expertise in highway and site, parking, culvert design, maintenance and protection of traffic, as well as utility, sewer, and water main design. Mr. Bieber has worked for private clients on subdivision and retail/commercial design, and provided construction inspection services. Mr. Bieber has multi-faceted talents to assist clients from project start-up through construction completion. Mr. Bieber currently resides in Newark, New York.

	LaBella Associates’ Environmental Director Speaks on Marcellus Shale Gas Play for NAIOP Upstate Greg Senecal, Director of Environmental Services presented “Marcellus Shale Gas Play: Economic, Environmental, and Lending Considerations” at NAIOP’s Upstate “Hydrofracking New York” seminar on March 8, 2012 in Rochester, NY, and also on March 28, 2012 in Buffalo, NY. An overview of the Marcellus Shale Gas Play was discussed, delving into topics such as: economic forecasts; horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing processes and their associated environmental concerns; regulatory updates for drilling in New York State; and commercial and residential lending concerns. 		LaBella Associates is pleased to announce a recent Professional License Certification: Michael R. Duell, AIA, CSI Mr. Duell has recently passed the Architectural Registration Exams to become a New York State Licensed Architect. He has over 20 years of experience in architectural design and construction management. He has completed projects for educational, religious, industrial, commercial, municipal, and correctional facilities. Mr. Duell’s experience includes the development of projects from schematic design through completion of construction. Mr. Duell currently resides in Fairport, NY.
