LaBella Associates, P.C. is seeking a Senior Utility Engineer with preferably 10 years of experience in medium and high voltage transmission and distribution design work. Responsibilities will include design, budget estimation, equipment specification, project coordination, as well as field engineering supervision. In addition, this individual will be involved in preparation of specifications and field engineering relating to distribution substations and high voltage transmission line projects.

Design experience should include transmission line construction at 115 KV and higher, familiarity with utility structures and transmission line design software is beneficial.  Experience should also include distribution substation design, 115 KV and below, both indoor and outdoor, including electronic protective relaying systems, remote monitoring and equipment automation, SCADA systems, Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), transformers 10 MVA and larger, oil containment systems, and utility bus structure design.

Requirements: Candidates shall possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. Ability to attain professional registration is preferred. Experience working with large utility clients is a plus.
