LaBella Assists Clients in Securing $7 Million in Restore New York Funding for Community Revitalization Projects

LaBella is proud to announce that eight of our clients have been awarded $7 million in funding through the Restore New York Communities Initiative. These funds will be used for various projects to revitalize and reinvigorate commercial and residential properties across the state.

“This is a significant victory for our communities,” said Ed Flynn, AICP, LaBella’s Director of Planning. “These projects will transform neighborhoods, stimulate economic growth, and improve the quality of life for New York residents.”

The funding awarded will support the following communities and projects:

  • City of Batavia | Carr’s Reborn Project
    • Awarded $1,850,000 toward a total project budget of $4,754,982
  • Town of Carlton | Nesbitt’s Manor Initiative
    • Awarded $1,000,000 toward a total project budget of $1,800,000
  • Town of Warrensburg | King Street Revitalization
    • Awarded $50,000 toward a total project budget of $103,570
  • Village of Fairport | Cannery Phase II Development
    • Awarded $1,000,000 toward a total project budget of $6,139,232
  • Village of Oriskany | Waterbury Felt Revitalization
    • Awarded $2,000,000 toward a total project budget of $2,650,000
  • Village of Hudson Falls | Griffin Hall Revitalization
    • Awarded $500,000 toward a total project budget of $1,203,590
  • Village of Menands | Mid-City Plaza Revitalization
    • Awarded $500,000 toward a total project budget of $1,440,822
  • Village of Greenwich | 49-53 Main Street Revitalization
    • Awarded $100,000 toward a total project budget of $478,647

The total funding awarded to projects supported by LaBella amounts to $7,000,000 toward a total cumulative project cost of $18,570,843.
