classroom of the future
ff&E + technology
Your project needs input from your organization, but how do you achieve consensus? Learn about our process.
Interior Design can reinforce existing behaviors or spark new ones. In schools, we're working with teachers to transform learning.
Today, it's not just "smart boards" that are smart. We'll coordinate the simplest bookshelf to the most advanced conference room system.
LaBella’s Project Visualization process allows representatives from the client organization to participate in focus group sessions (led by our design team) that uses a series of exercises and benchmarked project images to identify project priorities, desired features, and intangible qualities like mood and feeling.
Project Visualization is an interactive process we use to bring clarity to the words you may use to describe your organization and project. The words are developed and reinforced with visual images to establish common language between you and the design team.
The Classroom of the future
Most designers get that educational environments need to be durable, but our definition of a high performing facility means more than that. Working with teachers and administrators, we've made a conscious commitment to furthering our understanding of learning. As interior designers, we work closely with districts to design spaces that support new pedagogical trends.
In some cases, educators lead the charge towards new modes of instruction, and we help districts retrofit their classrooms to support new programs. In other cases, changing the classroom first is necessary to enable instructional changes.
furniture, fixtures & equipment
+ technology integration
Our clients rely on us for FF&E expertise that isn't sales driven. We don't sell furniture. We do evaluate, test, and specify it. And when your organization is considering products that are technologically sophisticated, we can help organize and plan for integration.
