LaBella Engineers Present at Annual Symposium
On April 26th, the 2016 Engineering Symposium Rochester was held, in association with several local engineering societies. The symposium featured 37 accredited presentations over the course of the day, and sold out in advance of the event. Three presentations were given by LaBella personnel:
Steve Gauthier presented "An Engineer's Perspective on Design Build SR 427 Bridge Over the Chemung River Case Study," focusing on the design-build project delivery method from the engineer's perspective.
Mike Winderl presented "Rochester Train Station Design Build," which included a project synopsis, facts about the project and project team, and effects of the design-build process on the overall project.
Ira Poplar-Jeffers and Shelby Persons presented "Wetland Delineation," sharing the identification, classification and delineation of wetlands and streams in New York State, and a step by step summary of regulatory wetland and stream permitting.
