LaBella's Bob Wilson Is Awarded the Robert K. Seals Distinguished Service Award
The Robert K. Seals Chapter Service Award is presented annually by the American Public Works Association – North Carolina Chapter to recognize a member for outstanding service to the Chapter. The purpose of this Award is to recognize individuals who support the Chapter by serving as an officer, contribute as a key public works administrator, and who show outstanding character.
Read what Ken Martin, President of the APWA North Carolina Chapter, had to say about Bob at the Past President’s Dinner below:
“This year’s recipient is, Robert Wilson. Bob has been a trusted leader and longstanding active member of APWA. He has taken our chapter training to new heights and is a diligent promoter of education to our members. His character is impeccable and his dedication to this chapter is unwavering. He has served as PDH committee chair, Membership committee chair, education and training chair, and as Director on the NCAPWA executive board, as well as conducting the construction inspection seminars in both Raleigh and Charlotte for the past several years. Bob has organized and facilitated the Annual Meet and Greet luncheon for new members for the past few years. Bob was also instrumental in the success of the Career Expo’s that were held in Charlotte and Gastonia by helping organize the events and manning a booth that promoted careers in the engineering field of public works.
Bob always wears a smile and promotes public works in every setting. Please join me in congratulating Bob Wilson as the 2018 recipient of the Robert K. Seals Distinguished Service Award.”
