State Representative John A. Torbett, Gastonia Mayor Walker E. Reid, and City Manager Michael C. Peo
Last week LaBella Associates, in association with the Gaston Regional Chamber, proudly hosted a ribbon cutting and grand opening of our new Gastonia office in the sought after Loray Mill, southwest of downtown Gastonia. A historical landmark of the City, and once one of the world’s largest textile mills, the renovated mill is the crown jewel of the Loray Mill Village neighborhood and represents the redevelopment and growth happening in the city and throughout Gaston County. Mayor Reid shared his excitement and enthusiasm for the growth and upcoming projects happening in the City, including the Franklin Urban Sports and Entertainment Complex (FUSE) and the extended light rail from Uptown that will continue into Belmont. As a token of appreciation and in support of the City’s vision, LaBella presented Mayor Reid with a plaque of the Charlotte Business Journal spotlight on the revitalization happening in Gastonia. “This office space represents our commitment to Gastonia and the greater Gaston region. We have enjoyed a long history with this City and this is another step in solidifying our partnership,” said Vice President, Keith Garbrick. “We believe this new space will allow us to be more active and engaged in the community we serve.” Thank you to Representative Torbett, Mayor Reid, City Manager Peoples and the Gaston community for their continued support!
