Ann Aquilina and Jon Spurr are now Professional Engineers!
Congratulations to Ann Aquilina and Jon Spurr who have passed the requirements to become licensed Professional Engineers (PE) in New York!
Ann has been with LaBella for 5 years. She is responsible for coordination and successful completion of environmental investigation and remediation projects and has managed numerous Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). Her project experience includes NYSDEC Brownfield Cleanup Program projects, Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Site projects, and NYSDEC Petroleum Spill projects. Ann has also managed vapor intrusion projects and has successfully designed numerous sub-slab depressurization systems (radon type system) for venting buildings. She has also assisted the Civil team with municipal wastewater projects including design and construction administration services. Congratulations, Ann!
Jon has been with LaBella since March 2015, focusing on site design and athletic field projects. Jon has evaluated, designed, and assisted with construction administration for a number of K-12 Capital Improvement Projects including Spencerport, North Tonawanda, Monroe #1 BOCES, Webster, Syracuse, and Rush Henrietta, to name a few. He has also been involved in municipal site design projects such as West Webster Fire District Station #1 and higher education projects including the Nazareth Performing Arts Center.
