LaBella Welcomes Douglas McCord, RLA ASLA & Now Offers Landscape Architecture
LaBella welcomes Douglas McCord, RLA ASLA, and is proud to announce landscape architecture as our newest service offering!
LaBella Associates is proud to announce we are now authorized to offer landscape architecture services in New York State.
The catalyst for this new service offering is the hire of Douglas McCord, RLA ASLA. Doug is a senior landscape architect who brings over 40 years of experience to LaBella. He previously owned his own firm, McCord Landscape Architecture PLLC, for 28 years, and served clients in Rochester, NY and surrounding regions.
LaBella and Doug have collaborated to assist clients in New York for decades. “I am very much looking forward to working with a large and well-respected firm like LaBella Associates,” Doug McCord said. “For me, this seemed like such a natural progression, having worked in my own practice with so many great folks at LaBella over the past 28 plus years. I continue to be awed by LaBella’s ethic of promoting outstanding service to clients and their maintenance of the highest standards of excellence in both creative and technical approaches to each and every project.”
Doug’s expertise focuses on site layout, erosion control, parks and recreation design, waterfront design, visual impact assessment and photo simulations, cost estimating, lighting design, drafting, grading and earthwork calculations.
“Now that Doug has joined our team, we can truly offer an elevated set of services to handle whatever our client’s needs may be. Combining his skill set along with the talented landscape architects that have come to us through a recent business combination with Chazen in the Capital District and Hudson Valley, we can seamlessly offer these services across New York State.” says Civil Division Director Tim Webber.
These strategic partnerships along with our ability to offer landscape architecture services in house will enhance our serviceability in New York State.
