LaBella Associates was retained by SUNY Alfred State College to renovate Burdick Hall dormitory. Upgrades were made in two phases to living areas and entryways. The scope of work included the design of two new ADA accessible entry vestibules for this residence hall, as well as aesthetic renovations to the building’s interior lobbies and student lounges. Additionally, LaBella provided asbestos abatement for the areas of work, added more interior signage, and provided aesthetic improvements to the exterior of the building’s windows. The exterior vestibule and window design contributes to a campus-wide architectural vocabulary.
