On Tuesday, May 3rd, MCC President Dr. Anne Kress and County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo visited the Monroe Community College Downtown Campus to see the construction progress first hand. Principal-in-charge Robert Healy and Project Manager Jerry DeRomanis led a tour illustrated by LaBella's design renderings and the corresponding constructed elements.
Construction is progressing from the top floors down. Floors six and seven are showing finished drywall and paint, while steel framing is being erected on the lower floors. Now only six months into new construction, over 250,000 square feet of finished space will be completed for the Fall 2017 semester.
