LaBella Associates announces the acquisition of Archbald, PA environmental firm Pennsylvania Tectonics today. All seven Pennsylvania Tectonics employees will join LaBella’s Scranton team in the firm’s Dunmore office.
Tectonics has provided environmental solutions to clients in northeastern Pennsylvania for nearly 20 years. Areas of expertise include environmental due diligence, investigation and cleanup work associated with Pennsylvania’s Underground Storage Tank Indemnification Fund, and environmental design and construction of soil and groundwater remedial systems.
Joining forces with Tectonics allows LaBella to bring their full service approach to the region. The firm already offers civil and transportation engineering from their Scranton location, as well as architecture, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and energy engineering services just over the border in New York’s Southern Tier. “Our clients look to LaBella for the right resources for their project,” LaBella President Robert A. Healy said. “With this acquisition, we can provide in-house expertise on environmental issues across the region.”
For Martin Gilgallon, Principal of Pennsylvania Tectonics, joining LaBella presents an opportunity to grow the business and relationships the firm has cultivated. “LaBella is a great fit for us. We share a commitment to client service, which will only be enhanced by having LaBella’s depth of resources behind us. We’re looking forward to collaborating with our new colleagues.”
Welcome, Pennsylvania Tectonics!
