Kevin Feak Earns Professional Engineering License!

Please join us in congratulating Kevin Feak, FPE, NYSCCEO, LEED AP, PMP!

Congratulations to Kevin Feak for earning his Professional Engineering (PE) License! Kevin is now a licensed Fire Protection Engineer (FPE) in California and Vermont, and a licensed Professional Engineer in New Hampshire with specialties in Fire Protection, Industrial, and Construction.

Kevin is a Senior Fire Protection Engineer at LaBella with 10 years of experience in fire alarm/detection systems, water-based suppression systems, special hazard systems, and life safety systems. He has experience with the design, installation, maintenance, operation, and root cause analysis of these fire protection systems. This holistic experience allows Kevin to contribute to many phases of the fire protection engineering life cycle.

In the last year, Kevin has been working on healthcare, municipal, utility, and state agency projects. He is providing code review and inspection support to the City of Utica for Mohawk Valley Health System’s new Wynn Hospital and fire protection system review for a utility company’s data center upgrade.

Kevin is also a New York State Certified Code Enforcement Official (NYSCCEO), a LEED Accredited Professional, and a National Fire Protection Association Certified Fire Protection Specialist. Additionally, Kevin has his Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the American Society for Quality and his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. He earned his Master of Public Administration from Villanova University and a bachelor’s in fire science from American Public University.
