  • June 3 at 9:10 a.m. | Michael Cocquyt, MBA, CPRP, will be joining the EMBA Alumni Speaker Panel alongside Amanda Bosh, EMBA (Executive Director, Lowell Observatory); Abby Mastrella, EMBA (Assistant Vice President, HR Strategy & Transformation, Cognizant); and Anthony J. Smith, EMBA (OpEx Manager, General Motors). Panelists will share their post-graduation journeys and offer guidance on how to leverage an executive degree for long-term career advancement.

  • June 5 at 3:30 p.m. | Mary Steblein, PE, CPESC, will be presenting “Introduction to NY Stormwater,” which will provide an overview of stormwater management requirements in New York State under the SPDES General Permit (GP-0-25-001). The session will focus on erosion and sediment control, emphasizing key topics relevant to code enforcement, including fundamentals of the stormwater design process, common erosion and sediment control practices, obtaining and terminating permit coverage, inspection procedures, and long-term maintenance responsibilities.
• June 5-7 | New York State Society of Professional Engineers (NYSSPE) – NYSSPE Annual Conference | Buffalo, NY
  • June 6 at 12:00 p.m. | Bob Steehler, PE, will be presenting “Buffalo Bills Stadium: Site Design, Permitting, and Construction Update,” which will provide an overview of the civil design for the new Highmark Stadium and its surrounding site in Orchard Park, NY. The session will explore key site design challenges, highlight what sets this project apart from typical land development efforts, and discuss unique aspects of the construction. Bob will also share an update on the current progress at the stadium.
