LaBella Announces Edward Larkin, PE, NYSCCEO, LEED AP, as Newest Vice President!

Congratulations to Ed Larkin on being named a Vice President at LaBella!

 

LaBella is pleased to share that Edward Larkin, PE, NYSCCEO, LEED AP, has been named a Vice President!

Ed is the Eastern Regional Manager for Buildings Engineering and the Manager of LaBella’s Building Code Services practice. He is a licensed professional engineer in New York, a New York State Certified Code Enforcement Official, and a LEED Accredited Professional. He is also a member of the International Code Council, National Fire Protection Association, U.S. Green Building Council, and New York State Building Officials Conference.

In his nearly 20 years with LaBella Associates, Ed has gained extensive experience in the design and construction of buildings and green infrastructure, with roles ranging from master planning and conceptual design through commissioning and project closeout. He leads a diverse and talented team of design professionals, code enforcement officials, and construction managers who perform design and construction oversight services, regulatory compliance reviews and inspections, safety services, and owner’s representative services for public and private sector clients.

He has worked on some of the largest and most complex projects, including the design of the first triple net zero mixed-use building in the U.S., the provision of Owner’s Rep services for the construction of a 626,000-square-foot offshore wind manufacturing facility expansion at the Port of Albany, and the review and construction oversight of multiple semiconductor manufacturing projects across New York State.
