Our team designed multiple buildings on the Capital One West Creek campus. The initial program RFP was for a 200,000 sq. ft. office building supported by a parking garage and a dining facility. We reassessed their entire corporate campus and found they were lacking a ‘front door’, a clarity to their campus, and a hub for elevating their sense of community throughout.
We then turned the simple dining facility into their premiere amenities building for the entire campus. It consists of the state-of-the-art dining facility they initially wanted as well as their recruitment center for the entire east coast, an 800-person meeting facility, and an atrium that connects each component and facilitates Capital One’s progressive culture. The campus also includes a 2,400-space parking deck equipped with electric vehicle charging stations.
