Section of SR 492 in New Milford Township Receives New Retaining Wall

LaBella collaborated with Kriger Construction (who won the design/build contract led by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 4-0) to complete the final design of the SR 492 retaining wall in New Milford Township, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania.

The retaining wall is 165 feet long with a design height of 20 feet and consists of a caisson soldier pile wall with anchors and precast panels. LaBella served as the lead engineer on the project and completed all roadway design, structure design, DEP permitting, traffic control design, right-of-way design, and utility coordination.
