Jared Pristach Presenting at the Genesee/Finger Lakes Regional Planning Council’s Spring 2024 Local Government Workshop
LaBella’s Environmental Engineer Jared Pristach, PE, will be presenting at the Spring 2024 Local Government Workshop being held by the Genesee/Finger Lakes Regional Planning Council (G/FLRPC) on May 16, 2024, in Batavia, New York. Held twice a year, the Local Government Workshop is one of G/FLRPC’s signature initiatives, providing the region’s municipalities an opportunity for information sharing and training.
On May 16th, Jared will be presenting “Solar Development on Landfills and Brownfields ” alongside fellow presenter Cailyn Bruno, PG, LSRP, Director of Environmental Services at the New Jersey Institute of Technology’s Center for Community Systems. The presentation will examine best practices for siting renewable energy facilities (specifically solar) on brownfields, Superfund sites, and landfills in the Western New York region, as well as items for municipal leaders to consider and remediation considerations typically accounted for by developers.
