Bridges play a key role in connecting people and places – cultivating partnerships that build stronger communities.
Successful bridge projects do not merely provide safe crossing—they minimize impact to the environment, the public, and the taxpayer. We keep public and private roads high and dry, from small, single-span structures to complex multi-span bridges on the interstate system.
Our engineers are equally adept at working with small municipalities on innovative rehabilitation as they are at completing full highway interchanges under heavy traffic conditions. Our practice has encompassed historic truss bridges, changeable rivers, and pedestrian thoroughfares.
Our ExpertiseLaBella has been providing bridge design for over 30 years! Our team has worked on a variety of rehabilitation and replacement projects, ranging from locally owned, low-volume bridges and culverts to state agency-owned, high-volume interstate bridges.

In the past ten years, LaBella has designed over 15 locally funded bridge projects throughout Western, Central, and Southern New York.
Locally Administered Federal Aid (LAFA) Projects
